Traveling to Columbia
Columbia is easily accessible from anywhere in Southeast via I-77 to the north, I-95 and I-20 to the north and east, I-20 to the west, I-26 and I-95 to the south and east, and I-26 to the northwest.
By car, Charlotte, NC is just over an hour away; Charleston, SC and Greenville, SC are each about 90 minutes; and Atlanta is no more than 3 hours away.
We have Amtrak and Greyhound service into the city, and are also served by Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) which has daily flights to Dallas, Orlando, Atlanta, Houston, Memphis, and Charlotte, among other locations.
The USC Music Library is situated on the west side of campus 3 blocks from the vibrant Vista district which boasts shopping, dining, nightlife, several new hotels, and the recently-completed Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
