Hampton Inn on St. Charles Ave.

Two hotels are booked for our SEMLA/TMLA group, and they are both Hampton Inns. The first is in the Garden District, on St. Charles Ave., mid-way between the Quarter and Loyola’s campus. The other is on Carondelet St., about two blocks off of Canal St., steps from the French Quarter. The rate is $119 + 13% tax, and streetcar rides are $1.25 each, though we will have arrangements for shuttling you all around if you prefer. The rooms are blocked through Sunday, so if you’d like to stay an extra night and enjoy the city, you can take advantage of the conference rate that Saturday night.

Gambit Weekly is a great place to view a calendar of live music and other events in New Orleans, and as you probably know, any day/night, almost any time, there is ample entertainment to take advantage of!
