Our conference hotel is the comfortable and conveniently-located Hilton Garden Inn Durham/University Medical Center on West Main Street in Durham. The hotel is just steps away from a variety of restaurants and shops in nearby Erwin Square and Erwin Mill as well as on 9th Street. Duke's East Campus, where the Biddle Music Building is located and where we will convene for our opening reception, is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There is a complimentary hotel shuttle service from 6:30 AM – 9:30 PM daily which can provide transportation to and from the conference venues on Duke’s East and West campuses.

You must book your room by September 18th to receive our special SEMLA group rate of $149 a night, which is available through this date or until the room block sells out, so booking early is recommended.

The room rate applies from October 19th through October 23rd, so you can feel free to arrive early or extend your visit to enjoy the many dining and entertainment opportunities in Durham!
