Welcome!

Since COVID-19 has turned our personal and professional worlds upside-down, the 2020 SEMLA Annual Meeting will feel a little different than in years past. While we were planning on meeting in person at Emory University in Atlanta, in the interest of everyone's health and safety, we will instead be meeting online via Zoom this year. Graciously hosted by Vanderbilt University, we hope that this little electronic diversion is just a temporary one, and should not negatively impact the overall content of our meeting in any way.

There will be no cost to this year's conference, although we do ask that people register nonetheless for our planning purposes. There will also be no SEMLA pre-conference held this year, but the OLAC Catalogers Network is holdings training sessions of their own, which will be listed on the relevant page linked from the menu above. Our regular conference program outlining this year's range of presenters is also readily accessible alongside.

Our community is very much alive despite this crisis, and we still have a lot to say and contribute. We hope all SEMLA members and anyone else with an interest in our community will join us online on Friday, October 16!
