SEMLA 2015 Presentations: Call for Submissions

The SEMLA 2015 Program Committee is now accepting proposals for presentations for the upcoming SEMLA Annual Meeting in Athens, Georgia, October 29-31, 2015.

If you are interested in submitting a presentation proposal for this meeting, please include a title and a brief abstract of its projected content. Also indicate whether the presentation would fit best in a 30-minute or 45-minute time slot.

While this conference will not have an overarching theme, we wish to encourage those researching special collections and/or local history collections to submit proposals. The University of Georgia at Athens has a new Special Collections building and a fine Local History collection that will be highlighted during this conference, and hearing about other, similar endeavors would be exciting.

Please note that presenters and co-presenters will be required to register for the SEMLA meeting, even if only for a single day.

Please submit all proposals to the SEMLA Program Committee Chair, Sonia Archer-Capuzzo at  smarcherdma@gmail.com

The deadline for submissions is Monday May 18, 2015.
